PostSubject: research topic: Minimizing CO2 Emissions Towards a Greener Community   Tue Jun 30, 2009 8:32 pm

One of the major contributors in global warming is the carbon dioxide we emit.

Based from my readings, these carbon emissions stem from the electricity used by the computer terminal and by the power consumed by the large data centres around the world.

Usually people do have this bad habits of not puttting off their computers when not in use. Imagine, the energy consumption, the carbon dioxide that is being emitted and the bills to be paid.

There are still lots of problems, but knowing the efficient ways of minimizing CO2 Emissions would be a great help for us and to our mother earth!

We do have same ideas chelle.. Though in my topic, it is somehow ways to deal with it. I think we have to collaborate on our research if we are allowed to and if our topics will be accepted..

...cheers...

making people aware should be the first option of this study right?

Are you going to propose a gadget that will minimize CO2 emissions? You already said that there are a lot of ways to minimize CO2 Emission, i suggest that you just concentrate on 1 (the best) and realize it.

based on my readings also, the biggest contributor to CO2 is the fossil fuels... which is needed for transportation or other industrial processes.

about 20% lng ang CO2 sa overall na greenhouse gasses.. 30-70% ky water vapor...

How can you show that this research has a big impact on global warming since very little amount lng man ang gina contribute sa mga PC sa total CO2 emissions.. hehehe.. curious lng... ^_^ but nice topic..
